The ECOFIRE RACK CONTROL is a wet pipe system that uses automatic sprinklers connected to a network containing our revolutionary SIMONRACK ECOFIRE FIGHTING extinguishing agent. Unlike traditional water-based systems that can react violently with lithium, our solution quickly and safely controls dreaded thermal runaway.

The system ensures that there is no fire spread to adjacent batteries.

The heart of the ECOFIRE RACK CONTROL system is its extinguishing agent. It is a liquid solution of water-based organic charges that redefines fire protection.
Superior Firepower (Encapsulation)
It has an efficacy between 30 to 40 times higher to that of conventional water.
Upon reaching 90-95°C, the product reacts, creating a protective carboxylic layer.
This cover increases its size between 40 and 50 times, encapsulating the fire and eliminating direct contact with oxygen.

Terrestrial fauna: Zero acute toxicity to earthworms (OECD Standard 207). Falls outside the criteria for contaminated soil.
Aquatic fauna No classification for acute aquatic toxicity in tests with Daphnia magna (OECD Standard 202).
Flora: It successfully passed the terrestrial plant test for emergence and growth (OECD Guideline 208), demonstrating it to be totally safe for plant development.
Design, Installation and Procurement
The ECOFIRE RACK CONTROL adapts to your palletised infrastructure and is designed in accordance with the Fire Protection Installations Regulations (RIPCI).
Rack Configuration Designed for storage of up to 3 heights, maintaining a minimum distance of 41 cm between batteries.
Millimetric coverage: The sprinklers are installed at the intersection of each level, with a maximum distance of 1.4 m between them horizontally. The maximum distance from the deflector to the load does not exceed 55 cm.
Guaranteed autonomy The pumping group and the reserve tank ensure a continuous flow of extinguishing agent with a minimum autonomy of 30 minutes.
Simple and Regulated Maintenance
To ensure the optimal functioning of the system over time, a comprehensive preventive maintenance programme has been established:
Quarterly and half-yearly reviews: Visual check of sprinklers, reading of pressure gauges, cleaning and verification of the pressure group.
Annual reviews: Flow and pressure tests, as well as checking the SIMONRACK ECOFIRE FIGHTING reserve.
Long-term reviews (5, 10, and 25 years): They include laboratory tests by the manufacturer to ensure that the agent retains its properties unchanged for 5 years, and inspections of the pipe network at 10 and 25 years.

Planimetry and shelving audit
We analyse your layout of racks (The system is validated for 3-tier storages with tramex gratings), checking that required safety distances can be maintained (minimum 41 cm between batteries) and the correct location of sprinklers in the vertical chimneys formed by the load.
Hydraulic calculation and sizing
We design the pipe network and calculate the exact flow rate for the rapid response pendant sprinklers (K=80, activation at 68°C). We ensure the minimum pressure required (0.56 bar at the nozzle) and the volume of SIMONRACK ECOFIRE FIGHTING agent to guarantee at least 30 minutes of autonomy in the event of an emergency.
Regulatory Compliance Guarantee (RIPCI and UNE)
We guarantee that your installation will strictly comply with the UNE-EN 12845 standard for sprinkler systems and with the Fire Protection Installations Regulations (RIPCI).
