Fire test of a lithium battery rack - Ecofire Rack Control

This is a fire test of a lithium battery rack, where 9 pallets of battery storage are installed. 
 
The pallet with lithium-ion batteries with a total power of 65 kW is installed in the centre and set on fire by percussion.
 
The aim of the test is to prevent the lateral spread of the fire to the other pallets and to the bottom and top pallet for at least 30 minutes. 
 
The result of the test is a success as it prevented the transmission of fire in both directions for 35 minutes, which could have been extended as long as we would have liked, simply by continuing to discharge Ecofire Fighting.
 
All pallets that were not burned were found to be intact when analysed inside.
